I'm an Assistant Professor as well as the director of the Computer Engineering program in the Computer Science & Computer Engineering Department at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. I earned my PhD in Computer Engineering in 2016 at North Carolina State University, under the supervision of Dr. Eric Rotenberg. My research interests are in the architecture and design of high performance and energy efficient processors. My most recent work has been on a pipeline trace viewer written in SDL. My research group has also produced a high-level assembler for the RISC-V instruction set. I attended Michigan Technological University where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. My relevant industry experience is in architecture research at Intel, and ASIC floorplanning and physical design at Unisys.
