I am an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. Prior to coming to La Crosse, I earned my Ph.D. at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2015, where I worked with Dr. Sheldon H. Jacobson to apply operations research methodology to a fundamental problem in causal inference. I am also involved in the Election Analytics project which uses polling data to forecast outcomes for U.S. elections.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in computer science and mathematics from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in 2009. During my time at Rose, I was involved in astronomy research.
This website design was borrowed from my wife, Allison. As with most things, this site is a continual work in progress.
