There are many tools that will allow you to edit Java code. While you are welcome to use any of them on your computer, in class we will use BlueJ. BlueJ is a free, easy to use Integrated Development Environment (IDE). IDEs allow you to write and run code from within a single program. The current version, as of this writing, is BlueJ 4.2.2 (released October 2019). You can download it from the developer, BlueJ.org. Installation is painless and includes the required version of Java.
