The meeting was called to order by Chair, Billy Clow.  Chancellor Hastad released the budget reduction information on Monday, April 4.

               I.      The Chancellor informed the committee that the listening sessions held on April 5 and 6 relative to the 1.7 million budget reduction were well attended.  He welcomed to answer any questions the committee members would like to ask him. 
 

             II.      Ron Lostetter reviewed the handout, “UW-La Crosse 2005-2007 Biennial Budget Reallocations.”

            III.      The Provost commented that we are only turning over positions that we need to. 

         IV.      New Academic Building – The Regents will rank four buildings at their meeting this week.  Ron said that this building is the largest single investment that the state has invested in UW-La Crosse.
