Joint Planning and Budget Committee

The meeting was called to order by Chair, Dave Riley.

         I.      Copies of the of the November and December 2005 minutes were distributed.  M/P/S to accept meeting minutes with amendment to add Mark Gibson’s name to the list of attendees at the October 26 and November 2 meetings.

       II.      Faculty Senate will be discussing Jt. Planning and Budget recommendations at their next meeting.

      III.      Ron Lostetter presented information on the following handouts:

A.     Student Statistics Fall 2004-05 – UW System by Geographic Location – Headcount

B.     FY 2005 Class 2126 – Travel – Employee – Foreign Business

C.    Issues Addressed in UW-L 2006 Space Use Plan

D.    Questions/discussion followed.

E.     Sharon Radtke will bring information to next meeting on Summer SCH.

   IV.      Yellow Taxi:  UW-La Crosse has been asked to present information on the Yellow Taxi at the March Board of Regent.

     V.      Jennifer Wilson provided information (handouts) on:

A.     Non Instructional Academic Staff and Limited Appointment Data

B.     Instructional Academic Staff and Faculty Appointment Data

C.    Questions/discussion followed.

   VI.      John Tillman presented an overview on the Common Systems.
