The meeting was called to order by Chair, David Riley.
I. Ron Lostetter was unable to attend the meeting today.
II. New Travel Regulations – update by Sharon Radtke
A. Will be able to do travel comparisons and submit with Travel Expense Report.
B. New regulations will go into effect on October 24, with a three month grace period.
III. Provost Liz Hitch did not have anything to share today.
IV. Operational Efficiencies and Improvements
A. Turnover of computers and number of computers in labs and classrooms – Dave Faulkner presented an overview of the computers in the GCA labs, classrooms, and technology classrooms. Discussion followed.
§ Information regarding the computers and facilities will be sent to Dave Riley to distribute to the committee.
B. Reduce Physical Plant Services – Matt Lewis and Bob Goodno presented an overview and statistics (1974 versus 2005) of the Physical Plant and Operations and Maintenance. Discussion followed.
V. At the Joint Planning and Budget meeting next week, Dave Riley would like to discuss a response to the Chancellor’s request.
